One Wednesday 19th February 2025 an episode of the The Chase was aired which I filmed in October 2023. At the time I was teaching. The Isle of Wight County Press did a little article on the show https://www.countypress.co.uk/news/24952742.isle-wight-contestant-wins-bradley-walshs-itv-chase/ . Three of us got through and we won £3,333 each.

At the time I was going to use the money for a Spitfire Fight and that is still something I would love to do. I am currently about 5kg over the weight limit. I am about two sizes smaller than when I went on the show as leaving teaching and being able to take care of my health and wellbeing has meant weight is slowly but surely coming off. So watch this space and if I ever go up even though not dog grooming I will post here.

In the meantime I used the money to buy a top of the range hydrobath and electric table for the grooming business. The hydrobath helps circulation and to get rid of any dead hair as well as being pleasant for dogs and the electric table saves my back! If you visit the saloon you will be able to see them.
